The Story Of Us

Chef Kevin has had a love for cooking and food since as long as he can remember. The Polish side of his family would cook together and gather for large family meals as often as possible. As a kid, he would be in the kitchen with his grandmother, mom, and aunts helping prepare the meals. In 2000, he graduated from SchoolCraft Culinary School in Livonia Michigan where he was mentored by some of the top chefs in the nation. Since then he has gained experience in Los Angeles (where he was the Head Chef of the best new restaurant in LA named by Zagat), Michigan and Ohio (Cleveland, Vermilion and Elyria).

Lindsay also grew up in Amherst, Ohio. She has gained service industry experience since her very first job as a waitress in high school. Continuing on with with that job to help pay for college at Bowling Green State University and then bartending to earn extra money, as well. After living in Toledo to pursue her degree in Exercise Physiology and running her own Personal Training business she moved to southern Florida. While building her personal training business there, she supplemented her income by returning to the service industry working at one of the top restaurants in Miami Beach. When a lucrative offer arose to become part of the management team at the restaurant, she jumped on that opportunity. Here she gained experience managing service and catering staff for events of 50-500 people. After the Great Recession of 2008, business was slowly declining, and she made her way back to live in her hometown again.

Kevin and Lindsay met in 2009 on a blind date. Her best friend worked with Kevin at the Country Club where he just started as the Executive Chef and Lindsay was just moving back from Florida to be back in her hometown. They instantly had a connection and had a lot of things in common one of them being their love for the restaurant business. Even after 5ish dates in, they had plans of starting their own restaurant one day. Little by little over the years, they started on that dream and in 2020, they became co-owners of their very own catering business.

They have two children, Layla and Hunter, and live in Henrietta township.
